Aliens in the Castle returns for a 6th Year of FUN!

Aliens in the Castle is a “series” created exclusively for Not Just Dance. Students love playing aliens and they also love princes, princesses and everything related to castles. We decided – why not combine the two. Each script is written exclusively for this program and uses the theme “Aliens in the Castle”. These fun shows allow all students an opportunity to shine! We are able to write in additional parts and add (or subtract) lines to give each student a chance to have a part that fits their current skill level.

Performance Information

In Rendalina, or From Rags to Riches and Back to Rags Again, newly ordained King Jelliwop of Ogagon must attend a dance to select his new Queen. Rendalina has demanding stepsisters and a very nice stepmother, but still cannot get away to the attend the dance. Her Substitute Alien Godmother steps in to help. But, this is definitely not your typical Cinderella story. Join our Fun Counselors as students have fun learning Ogagon vocabulary, playing super fun characters, participating in lots of theatre games and getting to put on a show at the end of the week!

Cost:

$455/student, plus a $50/student production fee
(Siblings – $425 plus a $50 production fee)

Production Fee includes a Not Just Dance t-shirt and 2 tickets to the performance

Costumes

Each student will be required to provide black jazz shoes on the first day of camp (Additional pieces may be needed depending on the show). Parents may be asked to provide additional costume pieces that they might have at home. Not Just Dance will do their best to give parents as much advanced notice as possible.

Payments

Non-refundable Deposit: $100 due at registration
Non-refundable Production Fee: $70 due at registration

Note: The Not Just Dance staff will process the payments for you automatically, using the credit card you entered when registering. Full payment will be due at time of registration if registration is after April 1, 2023. If you would like pay in full, you have option on the parent portal.
